Although ive not been directly involved with it, ive helped out and seen all the development ect ect..
for those interested, some may know TVRs are a straight six and use finger followers, these followers coupled with a very bad valve to cam angle aswell as afew other bits is why the TVR speed six was such a blunder, basicly we've spent the last 3 years completly redesigning the engine and now have our own patent cast heads which use cossie hydraulic buckets, basicly redone everything, from pistons, rods, crank, oil ways to simplex chain system to lightened and oil fed half time bearings. We make about 410-420bhp on our N/A 4litre engines, at 11.5:1.
Anyway, so this is THE exact car from the film Swordfish, we've spent alot of time designing everything to get this going and has ALL our engine bits in the form of a low comp set up. Of the top of my head its a rotex C38, which is the biggest charger rotrex make, not sure wat boost its running yet, we think its over 600bhp without a IC or charge cooler system! The thing really sings, sounds like a jet, will try get vids when we get it back, just waiting to get thicker plenim made as the old one blew apart on the dyno lol.
