This is your problem, you cut corners with the intention of doing it properly at a later date but never do, just save and do it properly first time.

I swear you said you were going to do this car properly and save for good stuff?

i do feel sorry for you with the amount of crititism (sp) you get on here, i think some people are a bit harsh, but its getting to a point now where you bring it on yourself.

get a list of priorities and go down each one individualy, dont get impatient and buy cheap stuff, thats what i done on my old car and spent thousands redoing it properly.

from the start have a goal and slowly work your way towards it. buy decent stuff first time even tho it takes longer to get.

a car with a couple decent parts on it gains alot more respect than a car with alot of rubbish on it.

i did plan on waiting til i could afford wheels, but i got offered some cheap and couldnt resist lol.

basically until i can find a full time job, theres no point me even thinking about getting it lowered and buying decent wheels, even lips etc will take me long enough to save for,so i just wanna make it half nice while i save for the best bits.

seriously mate just wait, i done that with my fiesta, got some cheap fiberglass splitters, lowering springs and wheels and exhaust, as soon as i worked full time i replaced it all.

its just a waste of money, just wheels and it decked would look good while you save for other bits.

just be patient! worth it trust me

if i was in your situation i would put them wheels you just bought on, maybe spray them a subtle colour like graphite or black or maybe even white as bright colours like red/orange etc is a bit over done now

buy some 60mm springs and fit your exhaust. i think it would look quite tidy and a nice car to drive around in. i would then save for decent parts as you havent wasted alot of money of loads of cheap stuff but car would still look tidy and fun to drive around in.

thats what i done with my cupra, just painted the standard wheels black and put cheap coilies on. now iv got money im buying decent bits for it like banded steels etc

there is so much you can do on a limited budget, its about making the right choices. Prioritise what needs to be done, or what you would like to do and then look at areas you can save money. Not shelling out on things because you cant resist a bargain..

nice wheels, lowered and clean paint work. Id love a little civic to play around with, they can look so cool even with minimal work.

As discussed at Reading Gate it will look absoloutely crap, same as what EVERYONE else said Very Happy

Thats only even slighty acceptable merely because the wheels are RAYS (or atleast good copies). Paiting a set of budget wheels red will just be gay to the extreme!

The best modified cars are subtle ones.

a) youre car isnt decked as already outlined so red wheels will look stupid. you could pull of more plain looking wheels (which would still not look great, but would still be an improovement)

b) I honestley dont think it would suit your car that well with its colour. White wheels is what may be worth considering

c) Those rims in my opinion at least will be hard to suit the car as they are a non dubs style euro rim going on a jap car. Most people with those sort of rims just spray them black and get away with it.

Just my 2p, not worth anything though.

As like many others though have done just like you to "buy something now then do it properly later on", and would recommend against it as you will only kick yourself in the future.

Do not put those wheels on it. Save up for decent ones. Then deck it!
