Whoever said British summer time had to be wet? Sunday the 11th May brought out clear blue sky’s and high temperatures for the first ever Performance, Tuned and Modified show at Santa Pod.

Although pod wasn’t as busy as it has been at previous shows it was busy enough to keep things entertaining and quiet enough to have a chilled out show without barging people out the way in an attempt to get around.

The TeamShock stand was one of the busiest of the day and introduced a fair few new cars and members including Arrons Baby Blue 205, Noels Carbon Skyline GTT as well as some changes and new cars for the others with Baskies 205 hiding an Mi16 lump under its bonnet, Woodys freshly painted RS Turbo and Lees Sierra Cosworth.

The day also brought the stand and members some attention from the Media when DBSR Productions dropped into film the stand for there new Extreme DVD as well as Front magazine snapping up the MR2 and Arrons 205 for a feature.

Overall a brilliant day, and for me about the only Santa pod show I have been to in many years where I didn’t get bored.
